z61t Xserver vesa driver turning up blank

Hey

Just got a z61t(res 1440x900) and I've tried chucking both scientific linux and Gentoo on there however the monitor either dosnt work on the i810 drivers or turns up blank if i switch to the vesa drivers(Even after using 915resolution to edit the modes)

If anyone has encounted something simlar any help would be great.

I'll post the xorg configs and logs when i get network access on the box.

Thanks in advance
Adam
