Wireless Card Disapeared

This has happened twice now to me.

I have a IBM 390x, 450 PIII, 256M, 12G. I have been using Debian 3.1 R2, I believe this is the most current. My wireless card is a MACWIRELESS 200mw card, which has worked before with several versions of Linux and it has worked quite well.

All of a sudden, it cannot find the card, this is after I have done a install, through the Cable Modem network at home. It says there is no card inserted, though the card lights up. The card works well in other computers. It has worked well enough to do the install through the network.

I have run iwconfig and it says no card is there.

Any ideas, is there a bug with current version of Debian 3.1 R?.

type "lsmod" and "lspci" and post the results.
