Question What are the Difficulties with having for eksample Mandriva on a LAPTOP

What are the dissadvanteges by having Linux / Mandrvia.... on a laptop...

what problems can i encounter?

Pretty much the same as on any other computer. Depending on your hardware you may have problems with drivers and need to install the drivers to run your hardware, or you may have no problems at all.

I run Slack on my lappy right now, but have run many different distros. It works fine. To get an idea of the types of problems you MAY see, just read through this forum.
