Video problem with ideapad U160 on Ubuntu 11.04

Hi there,

I am running Ubuntu on Lenovo ideapad U160 which has an Intel GMA chipset, so far so good during the installation, but once I connect the HDMI video and reboot, the notebook screen blanks out, nothing on the HDMI although the monitor does detected video, I can get logon screen on VGA, but once logon the spinning clock non stop waiting for nothing, video all blank on 3 displays, I must reboot to 'previous version' to get the video on notebook screen, as long as I do not connect to HDMI all work fine, any idea how to fix that ? thanks !

Newer versions of the Intel drivers seem to have a bug where they can't get the correct display information from the system and therefore are not able to drive the display with the correct resolutions/timings.
