Ubuntu 11.10 wireless problem on Dell Duo 1090

Hi
I upgraded my Dell Duo from Ubuntu 10 (which worked perfectly) but now wireless networking won't work. I've seen a solution which involves downloading some drivers, BUT the Duo has no ethernet connection and can only use wireless to connect to the internet - so I can't download the required drivers......
HELP !!

Tom
