Cool toshiba tecra A10 wireless problem in Fedora 8


Hi Folks,

I have installed Fedora 8 on my Toshiba Tecra A10 laptop.

Main problem is with wireless card. Anyone has any idea to get the card working. Below are some info:

uname -a
Linux wavelet 2.6.26.3-14.fc8 #1 SMP Wed Sep 3 03:40:05 EDT 2008 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

[root@wavelet intelwlan]# /sbin/iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

wmaster0 no wireless extensions.

wlan0 IEEE 802.11abgn ESSID:""

Can you post the output of lspci please - the line with the wireless card, that is. That should point us in the right direction for drivers.

Hi

I have installed firmware, and can see wlan0 through network manager. However, the laptop freezes if wlan0 is up. Any idea?
