Question Toshiba Portege 4000 Wireless Network Card

I recently installed Mandrake 9.2 on my laptop, everything seems to be working fine. However, when I try to connect using the built in wireless card, it does not work. Linux does not see the network card and does not seem to detect it using the Mandrake Control Center. How can I install/configure this card? I did check to make sure it was turned on and a number of other things, but I am stuck.
