I want to buy a new laptop for my sister as a birthday present , She is a student and she likes playing game .My budget is $700 ,and My requirement is simple operation, easy to carry,I don't want it to crash as easily as the old HP. my friend recommend the Dell and Lenovo laptop,
I need some professional advice.
Stick with popular brands such as HP, Dell, Acer, etc. Next figure out what CPU specs you want, maybe an i7?. RAM is also very important for gaming, the more the better, don't settle for less than 8GB.
I have been using dell laptop for 5 years and i am also a game player ,try it if you are interested ,as a popular brands ,the Dell laptop is very cool ,
I didn't have any operational problems during my use.
$700 isnt much for a good gaming laptop. Your money will go further looking into AMD cpu and graphics. I toyed with newegg.com's search utility to find best bang for buck. If you can scrape together more you might be able to get a intel I7 with nvidia gpu which would be best setup.
I settled on a Acer Laptop Aspire E E5-553G-14QY AMD A12-Series A12-9700P (2.50 GHz) 8 GB Memory 1 TB HDD 128 GB SSD AMD Radeon R7 M440 15.6" Windows 10 Home 64-Bit. which is around $550
things to look out for are DVD drive, memory you want min 8-16gb. ssd drive for fast drive access some have 128gb ssd with another 1-2tb disk drive. true hd resolution 1920 × 1080 when a number of laptops will have 1366 x 768 or something other than 1920x1080 hd.

Anyways , thanks , Because of insufficient funds,i'd like to use some of the money to fix the previous locked Dell laptop,So I can save a lot of money. in this way , and it looks new. It's not a big problem, it's just locked, and I forgot my previous password.i need some advice now ,
I picked up a used 8460p HP elitebook for 100 US Bucks, needed a new keyboard, then I slapped in a different MB to get
Graphics Card Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Seymour [Radeon HD 6400M]
and upgraded the i5 to an i7
CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2760QM CPU @ 2.40GHz 8 cores
and kicked it up to 16GB RAM via two 8GB sticks
and ... oh yeah I upgraded the screen too so I'd get 1600x900 HD.
put a 256GB SSD and just added a 2TB secondary hdd where the dvd goes.
the total cost was around $250.00 to $300.oo ish and everything was gotten off of eBay. and it looks brand new (still), and runs like a champ. the older 2nd and 3rd gen CPUs are still good cpu's to use, and cost much less.
I do not run games on here other than doom (prboom) but I have installed some of the hi-tech ones for a look see and have had no issues with them running and using a server hook up to the game to play it in. Quick and no shuddering frame dropping and such.

This is easy. Download a Linux Live CD and burn it on USB driver. after that, install a package called "chntpw", which is able to change or remove password for Windows computers. However, it would be challenging for newbies. If this was the case, you can check the sample method in here. Let me know your thought.

I recently picked up a Dell Core i7 8GB ram, 14.1" display, 750GB HDD with a broken keyboard, for 89.00USD on eBay. New KB was 15.00USD. Came with a good battery and a good charger.

So I take it your trying to unlock a Windows computer. You'll have to be more specific about what you tried. Have you tried the link that @beachboy2 posted? What commands did you run? What version of Windows are you trying to unlock?
Please provide more info.
The way I unlock Windows is live boot to Linux, mount the Windows harddrive, copy important data off onto a usb flash drive, reboot into Windows recovery, preform factory reset. And then reboot into a clean Windows install.
