tecra a7-232 and linux


hi
i have a toshiba tecra a7-232 laptop and i need some help
about compatible my laptop with linux and a right driver for it
and which copy is best for my laptop (suse , redhat).....

Might want to try Ubuntu for starters. You could try out some live CD versions to see what works. Without knowing the chip set of the graphics adapter (could be ATI or Nvidia), wireless adapter etc we can not provide specific information on drivers.

i installed mandriva only wirless and modem adpters didn't work and i found a driver for wirless adapter and i search to find something helpful for the modem but all the sites i found said "no driver for your modem "
i try scan modem tool and i sent the data to linmodems.org and i'm waitting .......
