Linux for Toshiba Tecra A7


Hi,

I am currently tring to get Fedora Core 4 working on a Toshiba Tecra A7 with the following specs:

Intel Centrino Duo T2400 (1.83GHz), 1GB RAM, 100GB HDD
Intel PRO/1000 PL wired Ethernet
Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG
ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 (128MB dedicated RAM)
15.4" WSXGA+ 1680x1050 LCD Screen

The Ethernet connection appears to be working despite being an 'unknown device' , the display however is proving difficult the get working at 1680x1050. I have try'd the ATI drivers but they don't support the card as yet. Also the ACPI shutdown does not work correctly.

Can anyone suggest how to resolve some of the hardware issues?
