system hang up


hi,

i installed redhat 2.4.21-32 EL on my notebook NEC VERSA P550, if i try to access to a specific internet site i have a system hang up.
we become an official redhat distribution but i forget the card with the subsription number so i can't activate update for the kernel.
how can i solve these problems.

You could try to install CentOS 2 instead, or, if version 2 is not a must, go directly to CentOS 4. You'll have the latest version without the need (nor the possibility) for a support contract. But otherwise, CentOS is nearly identical to Redhat.
