Smaller screen than normal.....

hi , I'm new in this forum and in linux society. I have installed Suse 10 in a partition of my laptop. I have windows in the other..
I got to windows once and when I booted again the linux boot select screen was smaller (16x10cm) than normal (31x21cm) and linux kept the same size since then. When I select windows , if shows the first screen of winXP at the small size and when it gets in , it changes to normal..ANd when I boot it gets small again . Does Anyone have a clue how to see things normal again? :-)

You may need to add some "Modelines" to your monitor device in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf that are specific to the monitor that you are using.

Try hitting
Code:
<Fn>+<F7>
while your BIOS loads.
