rehat entterprise linux 4 AS installation problem

hi!
i am trying to install redhat enterprise linux AS on my hp dv1376TU laptop. after partitioning the hard disk and during the course of the installation of an rpm called "slang", i am getting an error message that the rpm was not found or the rpm file may be corrupt.i checked the cd and the file was present there.....The installation is error free and completed without any trouble when i do it on any PC.....i am facing this problem only on my laptop.....and the similar problem was faced in my acer laptop too....i am able to install Redhat ent linux 3 WS without any problem in my laptop....but not ent linux 4....and the laptop has a sticker which says "designed for windows XP". if this is the case ...then y does it support the installation of redhat ent linux 3 and not 4?? is there anyway tht i can skip the installation of the "slang" rpm which is causing the trouble???plzzz help me

Can you burn another CD and try again just to make sure that it is not the problem with the media. To ensure that the source itself is not corrupt check for MD5. I've had similar problem because of corrupt media.
