Probs with Installing Linux SuSe on Gericom

I got Gericom 1st Per4mance. When I install Linux it
1. Show op some problems with istalling. I can press on Retry, Ignore and Abort
2. on 67% it freezes!
I cant dl any patch and i searched on sourceforge!
Without any results!
Please Help me! I dun got any operating sys. this is pc of my friend

Okay. the error with freeze is gone. but another has shown up: While booting it ses sumthin about Kernel panic

okay. i got it now with update system! But now there is a big problem:
When i get to loginscreen, i dun noe the login, cuz the istaller didnt ask for doing an account.
What is the Standard username and password, or what can i do?
