Hy

I've the same Laptop (R3235EA) and same problem with Fedora!

Using X.org with default driver X works, but I've non Hw acceleration so I can't use mplayer or quake3. I've download X.org and Drm project frov CVS and compiled them, so I obtain some acceleration (in glxgear it goes from 60 to 600fps), but no hw acceleration.

Ati driver doesn't work wit X.org and our chipset!

In FC3 it's quite better (X.org includes open source drm support), but Ther's no hw acceleration yet.

If you don't need hw acceleration (i.e. quake3 or doom3 or xmame), you could try to download from cvs x.org and compile it.

I Hope you enjoy it!

bye

ps: umh... R3532EA, are you Italian too?
