Problem with Asus F3SV DVI port not working

My laptop has both a VGA and a DVI port. When I pull up the nvidia control panel it recognizes both of my LCDs that are plugged in but only the one plugged into the VGA port comes on. Currently running Slackware 13 and the latest nvidia drivers.

Well I found the problem and it seems that the DVI port doesn't like the DVI to VGA adapters. So I had to buy a DVI cord today oh well.
