madwifi driver and 2.6.0-test9

okay, i have 2.6.0-test9 up and running, i compiled the drivers for madwifi, i stuck the drivers in /lib/modules/net/ and i added their entry into /etc/modules when i type in lsmod i get:

ath_pci 33968 0
ath_hal 111328 1 ath_pci
wlan 45608 1 ath_pci

in /etc/network/interfaces i added
iface ath0 inet dhcp

but, there appears to be no device called ath0, any suggestions?

thanx
