It is said redhat7.2 is the best platform for eda, and now i installed rhfc2 on my hp nc6000 laptop, it works fine, but when I reinstalled to rh7.2 the graphic interface seems doesnt work, when start linux, only the text mode, when run starx, it says there is something wrong with X11, i think maybe it can not work with my ATI radoen9600, so what should I do.

btw: I want to install c@dence ic design 5 , but it can not be installed on many new version linux, so if I want to use it on my laptop. what distribution should I choose?
