Laptop installation info

Hi, I'm new here and I have a few questions about linux on laptops.
First, I have a Toshiba Satellite m65-s9092 and i was wondering if there were any problems with puting SuSE 10.1 (because I already have a copy) on it. I know that there were some issues with the graphics card... If SuSE just won't work well, are there any distributions that will?

Maybe yours is similar enough that Ubuntu will work. I would just go ahead and give Suse a whirl if you're already familiar with it. Most linux installs only take 20 minutes to get a full system anyway. If it doesn't work, you can wipe it and start over with something else. I would say if there's any wireless devices, try to configure them after the install...
