Laptop Customer or Technicall Support

i have this averatec 3250hx-01 laptop for 10 months. it was in RMA 3 times allready, first time - HDD, second - dead optical drive, third - same optical drive, the dvds came out with errors and the light on the laptop was not coming on when the drive writes. i just recieved it from the repair facility, they supposedly changed the DVD-RW drive, but the light on the laptop is still not coming on when writing discs.
when called the customer support was very reluctant to even paying for the shipment on a new RMA, after i talked to a supervizor she agreed that the company will pay the shipping, but they would not extend the waranty even with the period of this 4th RMA. as she specifically denied me the right to transcript the recording of the conversation anywhere, i can not cite anything from it, BUT BELIEVE ME IT WAS AN UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE, for them this laptop is as good as new even if the repair facility did not repair a defect specifically mentioned in the RMA request.
if anybody has a similar experience please post it, it's a shame that such companyes are aloud to take advantage of somebodyes unawareness of their reputation.
BY THE WAY, IF YOU WHANT MY ADVISE, AVOID THEM AT ANY (I MEAN ANY) COST.

One would think they'd have a "No lemon" clause and after 3 issues like that they'd replace the entire unit. Check your manuals and agreements to see if they do. Since they wouldn't want to replace the whole thing willingly, you may have to point it out to them to get the "No Lemon" clause applied to your laptop.
