kismet.conf problem with airport wifi card

ive been googling around and i cant seem to find out what type of source my airport card is, its not an aiport extreme which is currently unsupported under linux. can anyone shed some light on this subject?

or better yet post a working kismet.conf file using the Apple Airport card as a "source="

The kismet.conf file is specifying the driver - the card type is not really the issue. The old Airport cards used the orinoco_cs driver, to my recollection.

What driver are you using with the Airport card? If orinoco_cs, have you patched to support monitor mode? That's needed for Kismet to work.
