ipw2200-problems on my Compaq nx8220
Slackware 10.2.
The kernel 2.6.12.6 works OK, i can use wireless, because i have downloaded and installed ieee80211-1.0.3, ipw2200-1.0.6 and appropriate firmware (ipw2200-fw-2.3).
I tried today to install the kernel 2.6.15-rc5. This kernel version has already the ipw2200 support. I have configured the new kernel ("CONFIG_IEEE80211=y", "CONFIG_IPW2200=y " etc.) and built it. Then i downloaded ipw2200-fw-2.4 and extract into /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware (the 2.3 version for 2.6.12.6 is also here). The kernel boots, but i find in the logs:

Should i also download and install ieee80211 & ipw2200???
