Hi,

Due to problems with WinXP, I recently installed MDK 10 on a friend's laptop. She was using a Sagem@800 ADSL modem, and whilst there were problems with XP, the modem did work.

Trying to get the thing to run under MDK has proved elusive. I have followed the instructions for a new internet connection. The correct ISP appears in the list, and the drivers appear to be installed correctly.

When the daemon asks if I want to try to connect, it always comes back as modem not working/connected, which I know that it is.

Any help greatly appreciated - I am not a Linux Techie, so simple English please, however basic it may sound (with do this/do that instructions).

hey spiceskull i got my sagem 800 E2T - there are 2 models apparently (says on back of modem) to work with drivers from here http://dev.eagle-usb.org/wakka.php?wiki=EagleUsb200
