IBM Rescue and Recovery(RnR) and GRUB

I'm not exactly sure if this is linux problem but here goes. After some fun with GParted earlier this summer, I managed to migrate my original T30 hard drive to bigger one. This left me with GRUB starting in text mode, not an issue.

I just installed IBM RnR in the hopes of created a rescue dvd. RnR overwrote the MBR so when the computer booted I would end up with "GRUB: _(blinking cursor)". I pulled out the Fedora rescue cd and reinstalled GRUB without issue. I'm able to get back to core 5 but when I try to boot back to XP, I keep ending up starting with RnR. I can't get back to XP.

I ran fdisk -l, which showed the hidden rescue partition as bootable and that's it. I remove the boot flag on it and put a boot flag on /boot.

I have no idea what to do and I really don't want to reimage the laptop

thanks

give me an output of fdisk -l
and then I (we) will try to help you get your windz up again.
So I would recommend to boot windz in rescue mode and
use fixmbr and fixboot from the recovery console.
Then we will have to boot with your FC DVD and reinstall grub again.
