HP Pavilion dv4 keyboard problem

My HP Pavilion dv4 keyboard has two keys: Down and Right

Acording to xev, Down is generating a KeymapNotify event when pressed and not a KeyPress event as expected. The KeyRelease event is ok.

Right is generating the same code as Home (and behaves as that, obviously)

Out of X the keys function properly (the same on windows vista).

TIA for any help

Alcino

PS.: I'm using xmodmap to cope with some diferent codes generated by the notebook.

Not the standard Down and Right keys. right?
I think they're special keys(like multimedia keys). Its not a problem, really the keyboard should be designed for Windows OSs, Its normal to change the key function when changing OSs(like linux). If the keys are running the same function on every press(all the time), ofcourse it aint a bug. please tell which distro are you using?
