gentoo on my laptop

I just got a laptop. want to put gentoo on it, but I don't know which one I need for my processor. I have an amd sempron.

The x86 version, not 64 bit.

If you're compiling from stage 1 (compiling the compiler, glibc and so on) you should use the plain x86 stage 1 CD. If you are using stage 2 or 3 look for the athlon-xp version.

You might want to set your CFLAGS and CPPFLAGS to include -march=athlon-4 to get the best out of your CPU.
