Compaq Presario 2150LA Graphic Problem

I have a problem with a Compaq Presario 2150LA.

It have an ATI Mobility Radeon IGP 320M. I installed SUSE 9.1 and doesn't recognize 3D Acceleration. And every time i log in the system it gives me an error.

The 3D Games look extremely slow and the screen gave me problems with the resolution. Is there a way to fix this. Any help will be appreciated.

i found support for my ati (desktop) cards somewhat bad, however with the new xorg6.8.1 they work great !

it's still not as good as windows, but works much better than xorg6.7 or xfree86 4.3.x

So perhaps installing xorg6.8.1 might give you better performance from you graphics chipset, from what i understand the ati drivers are much better (for whatever reason) with it (xorg6.8.1)

I have another problem with that laptop. The modem... for some reason, when i try to access internet with KPPP or the default program for SUSE, the OS freezes and i have to reboot, because it does'nt even let me get in the console. Any suggestion?
