Question blink black screen after start-up

Hello!
I installed Ubuntu 20.04 on an HP laptop 15s fq2015nq, wich las a 512 SSD.
After it boots, the screen saver comes on and after 2-3sec, the screen goes black for 1sec, just like a blink. I seen someone have the same problem in windows, when he plugs-in or un-plugs the charger, the solution for that was to modify the refresh rate. I tried other refresh rate value but it does not fix the problem. Anyone has any ideea?

You question raises more questions for me. Please clarify, particularly as regards the following:

Quote:

Is it the screensaver that comes on of the graphical display manager (login screen).

Are you using password-less login?

If it is indeed the screensaver, what is the configured delay for the screensaver to start, and is that delay being observed?

My bad, I meant to say ”background image” screen. I dont use idle time screen saver, I use automatic log-in and I have a password.
