Question ATI card configuration

I have a ATI radeon graphics card in my laptop(Dell Studio1535). I am using fedora 10 as my OS. I am not able to get any drivers for the card. Do fedora 10 has the configuration details by default. if yes how do I configure it. please help me solve my problem.

Fedora includes free software drivers for a wide range of ati cards and x will automatically configure to use them. The configuration file is /etc/X11/xorg.conf and it is accessed with a text editor.

Can you tell us which ati card you have (there are many in the "radeon"range) and what seems to be the trouble with your display.

I make it:
ATI Technologies Inc Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series
IIRC: it uses the free RadeonHD driver, which aught to be included with your distribution. [edit] Or not ... see below:

http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=210607

The command to install the driver is:

su -C yum install xorg-x11-drv-radeonhd

(you need to enter this into a terminal.)
