ACPI scripts ?


is it possible to have ACPI to control the screen?
like shut down the screen when i lower it etc.. ?

i think so, in debian I think those scripts are located in /etc/acpi. maybe not though... but yes I think acpi will control turning off the screen once the lid is shut

Yes I know this is possible. The event should be 'lid', ex:
event=button/lid.*
