daberti LQ Newbie Registered: Apr 2004 Location: Italy Distribution: Mandrake Posts: 1 Rep:	Acer Aspire 1350LMi and soundcard under Mdk10 Community Tried to configure the sound card unde Mdk 10.0 Community (Alsa driver for Via82xx, detected as 8233). It does not work. Kernel is 2.6.3-4 Here it is Modules.conf alias net-pf-4 ipx probeall scsi_hostadapter imm ppa above snd-via82xx snd-pcm-oss alias eth0 via-rhine alias sound-slot-0 snd-via82xx probeall usb-interface usb-uhci ehci-hcd alias ieee1394-controller ohci1394 alias autofs autofs4alias char-major-89 i2c-dev Basicly kernel tells that: Apr 21 14:22:52 danny kernel: via82xx: Assuming DXS channels with 48k fixed sample rate. Apr 21 14:22:52 danny kernel: Please try dxs_support=1 or dxs_support=4 option Ok, but where have I got to append them as kernel arguments in Lilo.conf or somewhere else? Any hint? TIA
