Acer 2304, ubuntu and wifi

Hi, I'm having problems with ubuntu loading my wifi card on boot.

I have a acer 2304WLMi which has a built in wifi card and I had to use ndiswrapper to get it to work. It does connect to my sitecom WL-013 wireless ap with 128 bit WEP encyption but it just will not connect on boot. I have tried so many different permutations of /etc/network/interfaces Can anyone help.

The way I currently get it to work is by disabling the wifi with the gui when X has loaded , then reenable it. While it searches I have to press the button twice and then it will connect.

I have tried disabling WEP but the results are the same. Can anyone please help?

Cheers
P
