32 MB pentium 1


ok so i recently got a old old old laptop and im looking to put linux on it but dont knwo what distro i could put on it

its a pentium 1 and 32 MB
so its slow
that being siad i am looking to hopefully make it fast enough to use it sucessfully

You might try DamnSmallLinux:

http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/

You can try it running from CD or install to hard drive


There are some other small distros, go poke around on Distrowatch:

I suggest Slackware or Vector which is Slackware based.
