smBus problem with 2.6.33.5

Hi,

I have a strange problem. I have used kernel 2.6.24.7 in my device and smbus works fine with my code. But if I use the same code but different kernel, 2.6.33.5, after start my code, in a few seconds, smBus does not work properly.

I dont understand what is the problem. is there any change kernel mainline in smBus access???

In my kernel there are follow options:

I2C core
I2C core messages debug
Geode.access smbus as I2C bus

Best regards.

Hello again,

well, I known what is the reason smbus works fine with 2.6.24.7 and does not work fine with 2.6.33.5.

with 2.6.24.7 there is a minimun time between messages (about 60-70 us), but 2.6.33.5, this time is less, then smbus protocol need a minimum time between messages.

Now, my question is: is there any define to set a minimum time between smbus messages?

Best regards
