smbus-arp module, lm_sensors

I am trying to get lm_sensors to works on my gentoo system with an Asus P4P800-E Deluxe.

Running sensors-detect gave me a list of my sensors and i compiled the kernel modules for each sensor. Sensors-detect wrote a nice init script and i added it to the deafult runlevel. On boot, it loads theese modules:

i2c-i801
i2c-isa
lm75
eeprom
w83627hf

it trys to load smbus-arp and fails.

What is smbus-arp and where do i go in menuconfig to enable it? The sensors seem to work even though that module is not being loaded. Can i just write a new init script that loads all of the same modules excpet for smbus-arp or do i need to compile it as a module?

Thanks,
Ian
