Mous units into coordinates

Hello All.

I need to transform relative moves of the mouse into coords. I've found in the kernel that REL_X and REL_Y are the changes that I need (EV_REL input event type).
But if I move fast right and slow left to the start point, I will get the sum value < 0 anyway cuz it's also shows the acceleration.

Can anyone tell how to find the dependence between relative change value and coords that were passed?

Thanks.

Not sure I understand your question, but xdotool, http://www.semicomplete.com/projects...mouse_commands has a lot of options for finding and moving the mouse by coordinates, both cartesian and polar. Maybe you could use it to make specific movements and figure out the answer to your problem by T&E.

Also xte, which is found in the package xautomation, can make both absolute and relative movements of the mouse by cartesian coordinates. http://linux.die.net/man/1/xte
