I can see shared units on Windows boxes, but can't see any files within these units

I can see shared units from other computers thru lan but can't see files within the shared units, trying to open the shared units only results in unlimited time waiting at the browser window, I can't see shared printers either.
I'm using mandrake 9.0, and lisa is configured as follows:
AllowedAddresses=192.168.0.0/255.255.0.0; BroadcastNetwork=192.168.0.9/255.255.0.0; DeliverUnnamedHosts=1 FirstWait=30 MaxPingsAtOnce=256 PingAddresses=192.168.0.1/255.255.0.0;192.168.0.1-192.168.199.19;192.168.0.1;192-192.168-168.0-0.0-99 PingNames= tesoreria;servidor;gerencia;compras;produccion;contabilidad; SearchUsingNmblookup=1 SecondWait=60 UpdatePeriod=300

Did you try as root?

Yes I tried as root but still doesn't work
