How do i do that?? Where do i type it? specially when there's no command prompt.
Dear,
When the Grub menu appears in the screen, select the entry which used to boot linux and press 'e'. After pressing 'e', three more options will appear on the screen, there you will find the the above said "kernel" entry. You have to just again press 'e' on that line (2nd line), and type whatever you got after given space. when you finished up the typing, press Enter, u'll back to the main menu (2nd screen), there u press 'b' to boot into runlevel 3.
Ok, i've boot up the server, 2 Option came up linux or failsafe, i chose option 1 linux, straight after i pressed enter, i pressed 'e' but nothing came up it just continued in the boot sequence, and gave me the error message.
