This is the problem. I want to build a custom kernel, and I want to find the CONFIG options to use in menuconfig. There is no way that the search command in menuconfig allows me to search for the module name. It only lets me to search for the CONFIG option. But, if I do not know the config option, and I know the module name, then the search option is useless.

Let's take "usbcore" as as example module. If I want to build this either as a module or into the kernel, then I would need to know where to find it in menuconfig. There is no way for me to search for it with the search option, because I would have to know the CONFIG option for usbcore.ko to find it.

How can I find the CONFIG options if I know the module names from lsmod that I want to include into the kernel or to build as modules? I would like to see the search option allow you to search for modules too. If it does, then how can I search for the modules by name?
