Unhappy Enabling Framebuffer leading to dma_interrupt_expiry

Hello all,

I am having Intel Dual Core machine with internal Radeon Xpress 200 graphics.

I sussesfully came out of the X server problem faced by this graphics card.

Now i downloaded the fresh kernel 2.6.18.1 source from kernel.org

I enabled Framebuffer options via make menuconfig and Eeperimental virtual framebuffer support.

I did all make, make modules, make modules_install, make install

Got the entries in grub.conf and added vga=0x318

rebooted the system and started with above kernel.

succesfully got the penguin logo but but but soon after....

getting this error all the time and not even able to reboot the box.

hdb: dma_timer_expiry : dma status=0x64
DMA interrupt recovery
lost interrupt
hdb: dma_timer_expiry : dma status=0x64
DMA interrupt recovery
lost interrupt
hdb: dma_timer_expiry : dma status=0x64

.....................

PLEASE HELP !!!!!
