Post Difference between linux kernel 2.6.33 and 2.6.35.

Hi All,

1> What is the difference between source code of linux kernel 2.6.35
and 2.6.33?
2> Is the patch which has been written for 2.6.33 can be used linux
kernel-2.6.35?
3> I have tried to apply the patch which has been written for 2.6.33
to linux kernel 2.6.35, But i am getting
"Hunk #1 succeeded at 794 with fuzz 2 (offset 66 lines).
Hunk #2 succeeded at 927 (offset 82 lines).
Hunk #3 succeeded at 1322 (offset 131 lines).
" and
"Hunk #1 FAILED at 175.
Hunk #2 FAILED at 254.
2 out of 2 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file drivers/i2c
/busses/i2c-pnx.c.rej"

4> Is the "zImage" generated after this will work properly on my
target ARM system?

Please help me in clearing my doubts.

Regards,
Ravi Chobey

For what it's worth, I never attempt to use the patches. I always download the complete kernel package each time.
