Xinerama Support with radeonhd?

Is it possible to get xinerama support with the radeonhd driver? I have an x1900xt and I'd really like to be able to get a dual head set up without having to resort to fglrx. My problem with fglrx is I'm trying to get a triple head set up working, and using fglrx brings up all sorts of problems.

For your card radeon is the best driver (provided you have a very recent distro like *buntu-8.10). It will support 3d, compiz, etc ..
