X fails

System: asus p4p800-mx
CPU: P4
OS: Linux RHat ES 2.1

I have been tinkering with this issue for about a week now and I am stuck.

The motherboard that I have is a asus p4p800-mx with integrated chipset. I can't seem to find the driver for this for linux.

Everytime I issue "startx" it craps out. This motherboard uses the Intel 865GV Series (and I checked xfree** site and it shoudl be supported if I use the 810. This is what I have been doing and still could not startx.

The motherboard came with a CD for drivers and under the linux driver, I get the note:

"Please link to web download 865G Graphics driver source for Linux OS website
cvsweb.xfree86.org/cvsweb/xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/drivers/i810"

I get a listing of files - what do i do with those files?

Need advice.
