Wireless USB Network Adapters


Hi All,

As i am new here you can all quess that i am a Absolute Newbie on the Linux stage.

Can anybody let me know what Wireless USB Network Adapters are Linux compatible????

I installed ( 1st try ) Lix yesterday, but he does not accept the Linksys Wireless USB Network Adapter WUSB11 ver. 2.6 . Cant find Drivers nowhere.

So i may need onother Brand ??

Cant wait......

Through linux-native drivers, I think none of them is supported... However, using ndiswrapper from http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/ you can make a lot of them work almost perfect.

I have never tried it myself, but it seems fairly simple...

some usb adapters have native linux support. take a look at this page for example: http://www.linux-wlan.org/docs/wlan_adapters.html.gz. or there is driver for WSUSB11 ver 2.5 (i don't know if it's good or not, i just saw it).
