Hi,

I'm not going to get into a pissing contest over semantics. If the MB is matched with proper hardware i.e.; CPU, memory and buses with speed then there is no reason the system cannot be used. The subsystems for the hdd and other peripherals will need to match the proper I/O but even there your support will be through the driver/modules/chipset drivers. If the processor family is the same then some minor issues may need to be resolved.

You may need to have chipset support but the buss speed doesn't matter to the OS unless there is a clock issue.
