What's faster USB or PS2!??

what is faster a USB 2.0 or a PS2!??

i want to get optimal results from my mouse!!
i have a MX500 & MX700 mouse!

I love the grip of the MX700 its way cool than the MX500
but what i don't like about the MX700 is that it is cordless...
that means that you have to change the batteries....

so connecting my MX500 to my usb port will give better performance
that to the PS2 or is it backwards!??

thanks

i dont think the ports will make any difference!
but, USB was designed to be more easy, simple and faster than normal serial ports (PS2 is serial isnt it ?)

The data that a computer mouse or computer keyboard sends is very little compared (I think its about 1200 bits per second) to the PS/2. PS/2 is a connection that always works under any Operating System. For USB, it does not always works and the operating system needs extra software to control it.

The speed of PS/2 mouse and keyboard versus the speed of USB mouse and keyboards is the same.

IMO, PS/2 mouse and keyboards has the highest reliablity than USB mouse and keyboards.
