Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

WD33C93 SCSI Controller on MVME147

Does anybody have, or know where I can get hold of, a datasheet or description of the registers in the WD33C93 SCSI controller? Western Digital's support is pretty useless as they now only support HDD's whilst Motorola refer you to Western Digital.

I'm in the process of converting some code from RTL/2 to C and whilst the wd33c93.c module in the Linux kernel is an excellent reference it is too complicated for my needs. It would be nice to know what it's actually doing to the registers.

For example, what do the CTRL_HSP, CTRL_HA, CTRL_IDI and CTR_EDI bits mean and do in the control register?
