Question Want to access my winXPpro NTFS drive while running Slackware8.1 from a different HD

I'm running Slackware8.1 from a removeable 20Gb drive on a Dell PrecisionM50 Laptop. I want to be able to read and access files from my Internal 60Gb WinXPpro NTFS drive. I believe that we installed on hdc1. hdb is the CD-ROM. I assume that the internal drive must be hda. How do I mount this drive and how can I see if there is a valid device for this drive that linux will recognize. If there isn't a valid device, how do I go about creating one. So far, linux is running great and I even have full NVidiaG500 GoGL support and sound working...now I need to get access to my WinXP drive so I can begin to play with some of my files and really put my first efforts with Linux to the test.

Talking It worked...thanks to another thread

I remembered reading about the fdisk -l command in one of the threads. When I ran it, my hda1 and hda2 were both listed as devices. I created a Cdrive mnt point and "mount -t ntfs /dev/hda2 /mnt/Cdrive" mounted it up no prob! I'm now replying to my own post from KDE and have been happily browsing my Primary NTFS drive. YAY....now I just have to figure out why I have to reconfigure sound support each time I launch Linux...but that's another post.
