How do I Access my 80gig NTFS drive in RedHat9

Pretty self explanatory except I have kind of a unique system setup.

I use a boot disk to start linux because i have a hardware RAID controller with windows xp on it that I didnt want linux to touch because ive seen it destroy raids before. So I have 2 drives on the RAID controller that linux didnt even recognize in the installation because i chose to NOT initialize them (obviously). So the linux partition is primary master, and was called hda by the install program. I deselected hdb to be used by the install, but hdb was my 80 gig ntfs drive. So ive tried mount -t ntfs on hdb-d 1-2 and it wont work, says "ntfs not supported by kernel". I know that sounds like an obvious problem but ive heard that usually isnt even really the case, but rather just a random error given out when the drive cant be found.

By default red hat doesn't have kernel support compiled in. Go here for a quick fix:

Linux NTFS Project

Also as root if you do

fdisk -l (l for larry)

you'll see the partitions linux can see
