Question VIDEO - Syncmaster 204B with Radeon driver on DVI connection blinking EDID DDC

Hello,

I have Samsung SyncMaster 204B connected via DVI to ATI Radeon card under Debian

There is known bug that with resolution 1600x1200 and refresh rate 60 Hz monitor is blinking. To stop it refresh rate needs to be changed to lower than 60Hz for example 55 or 59. I have prepared custom modelines in xorg.conf but i can not make my box force use it. Can you help?

This is interesting part of xorg.conf
